Flute Lessons for any age, standard and style. Limited spaces available!

I am a professional musician, and flute is my first instrument. After 10 years of teaching (now aged 27) I have a great collection of pieces to suit all abilities - and I believe in practice based study. There will be scales and breathing excercises (no escaping those!) but we will immediately begin by learning pieces and building your own repertoire. I am classically trained, but my greatest joy is in folk and jazz. I can teach extended techniques such as vocal and breath effects, percussive playing and circular breathing.

I teach at home, 7 minutes walk from canonbury overground station. It's a really friendly environment, with a pot of tea and lesson recording facilities.

Lessons are £30 per hour, and I offer a half price trial session. I also offer a 10% discount when 10 lessons are paid for in advance. I am happy to meet weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and Lessons can be 1 or 2 hours in duration. I am happy to teach in pairs, too.
